Orion Systems Group Completes Design/Build Project of a 17-Story High-Rise for Developers Trammel Crow and The Carlyle Group
Baltimore, MD, August 1, 2008 – Orion Systems Group is pleased to announce the completion of The Gateway Grand, a distinctive 17-story ocean front property located at 48th Street and Coastal Highway in Ocean City, MD.
The Gateway Grand boasts 250 feet of private beachfront property, an on-site restaurant, a stunning lobby, a 491-space parking garage, resort-style indoor and outdoor pools, a fully equipped fitness center, and an exclusive concierge service offered by the Carlyle Group at selected luxury developments.
In 2006 the project team selected OSG to provide the design/build security package based on OSG’s success with past projects of a similar nature. OSG subsequently designed, coordinated, and deployed a comprehensive electronic security platform consisting of smart card access control, visitor management, parking management, and digital video surveillance. OSG also provides the on-going system maintenance and life safety monitoring for the complex.
